Yosemite – Our Favorite National Park

In the spring of 2010 Bob and I traveled from New Jersey to California, then up the coast the Oregon, Washington and finally to Vancouver Island.   We had been across country about three times bofore I retired, but this trip was going to cover 14000 miles, truly the Trip of a Lifetime.  Along the way we got to see 11 National Parks, but our favorite was Yosemite.  When we left, we were sure that we would love Glacier National Park the best, but Yosemite really captured our hearts.  The breathtaking scenery is something that we will never forget.   We could see why John Muir was captivated by this spectacular park.

Thanks for kicking off your blog with such great photos!

Your road trip of a lifetime took you right through the hometown we left behind (Eureka, CA) over three years ago. Happy travels! Lookin’ forward to seeing more majestic pics. 🙂
